Super friendly, very good, high quality food but not too expensive. We (4 people) tried the "goose to go" before Christmas and were absolutely thrilled. The complete menu was ready, we received it in a warming box in real porcelain bowls. Blast !!! When I got home after a 25 minute drive, everything was still hot !!! Sensational!!! Both the goose and the side dishes were really delicious !! We will definitely do it again next year !!

The food always tastes delicious and is extremely fresh. Fetched or delivered yourself, it tastes like it has been served fresh. The service of the employees is always TOP. Definitely try it. We love it.

Cozy and the food is ok. The homemade vegan / lactose-free ice cream should be emphasized: incredibly good and of course THE tip here. Particularly noteworthy is the very attentive and obviously well-trained service. Special feature: the kitchen is closed on Saturday afternoons and only open again from 5/17:30 p.m.

We were there today and fetched food from the food truck. Delicious. We'll definitely be back.

We celebrated our wedding here on October 10th, 2020. The planning and implementation was to our complete satisfaction and we were more than thrilled! Despite Corona, we were able to spend wonderful hours in the fireplace room. If you don't go to the Old Tower, you've missed something! Our guests all wanted a business card, so we included one in each of our thanks. Thank you ?

Also worth a trip in Corona times. The idea with the circus wagon is great. Service works well and the homemade ice cream is delicious.

The waffles were delicious. The service was strange, almost annoying because there was a lot of commentary. You can also put cutlery down without explaining in two sentences that you have to put it down before ... There was a lack of sensitivity. Another waitress ran back and forth loudly and frantically, sometimes with a toddler in her arms. All this disturbed us very much in our quiet conversation.

Very old restaurant, very good service, fantastic menu. Chanterelles time and it showed: special menu with all kinds of dishes with these delicious mushrooms.

Great discovery on our trip to Blankenberg. The ice cream is really well done. The best ingredients and a fine taste make even the simple classics like vanilla or straciatella an experience. In a group of five people, everyone was thrilled with what an excellent ice cream shop is hiding here! Even in Cologne, despite an intensive search, we couldn't find any better ice cream. For this ice cream parlor alone, the route from Cologne to Bergisch would be worthwhile. We will be back!
